About the role
As an Operations Professional at Tiffany, you will take the lead in performing all back-of-house operations in a Tiffany store, ensuring the Tiffany Experience—Creating Connections, Providing Personalized Experiences, and Honoring the Tiffany Legacy—is delivered to every customer. You will act as a key holder and manager on duty when needed, coordinating order fulfillment, managing inventory, and overseeing client service activities, including opening and closing the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional operational support to drive sales and service, completing daily tasks such as order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, jewelry cleaning, merchandise transfers, and jewelry repairs while adhering to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Partner and communicate effectively with Sales Professionals, Management, and clients to respond to and follow up on requests quickly and accurately.
- Support company operations efficiency objectives by improving productivity and providing feedback on process changes.
- Assist management in coordinating work and mentor team members to improve performance when acting as manager on duty.
- Deepen client relationships to drive lifetime loyalty and spend by carrying out operations and sales support functions to meet or exceed store sales goals.
- Collect customer data during interactions to cultivate new and existing customers and drive business through key product pillars.
- Elevate the in-store experience by delivering memorable moments as a Tiffany brand ambassador, demonstrating the Tiffany Touch in every client interaction.
- Implement standard processes to optimize hospitality and store amenities, creating unique experiences and acting on NPS scores and client feedback.
- Resolve client and employee concerns using judgment and detailed knowledge of policy, procedure, and practice.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of prior retail experience in retail operations with comprehensive knowledge of merchandising, client service, administration, and shipping.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs.
- Authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based.
Qualifications
- A college/university degree (desired).
- Graduate Gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) coursework (desired).
