About the Role
The Operations Pastor is primarily responsible for the physical upkeep of campuses, including organization, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, deliveries, and inventory. This role involves leading and developing volunteer teams and collaborating closely with the campus team and staff to support day-to-day campus needs, event setups, and weekend services.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in and complete OPS training set up through the Facilities team.
- Consistently recruit, train, and develop a robust volunteer team, providing pastoral guidance and coaching.
- Maintain facility operations through vendor relationships, janitorial duties, campus cleaning, HVAC maintenance, air filter changes, general repairs, power washing, and supporting other ministries.
- Inspect rooms and buildings prior to events to ensure all needs are met, including temperature settings, access, room configurations, and last-minute details.
- Develop and implement a formalized cleaning plan for each facility area, covering quick event cleanups, post-event cleaning, and routine deep cleans.
- Manage trash removal for services and special events while maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance.
- Operate, clean, and maintain equipment according to CCV operating procedures; train and oversee volunteers to uphold these standards.
- Manage inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, storing, and displaying merchandise.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the campus landscaping company, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports to ensure goals and objectives are met.
- Maintain consistent communication with campus leadership and foster healthy relationships with both direct and indirect central team leads.
