About the Role
The Operations Manager, Warehouse supports the General Manager to ensure effective operational efforts of an individual client location under limited supervision. This role participates in developing and implementing location policies and procedures, conducting operational analyses, and auditing current procedures to improve efficiency and client satisfaction. The Warehouse Manager spends most of their time in the warehouse maximizing site performance.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure objectives are met
- Maintain Lean Six Sigma standards throughout the warehouse
- Enforce company compliance standards
- Foster open and positive team communication
- Build strong rapport with service providers and clients
- Communicate daily facility goals; devise, communicate, and implement plans to achieve operational goals
- Work with and motivate employees to ensure goal achievement
- Provide progress or constraint updates to management and implement corrective measures
- Enforce location safety management plans
- Delegate and direct the work of the warehouse team
- Manage team performance, including punctuality, attendance, discipline, and coaching
- Interview, train, and select employees
- Perform other duties as assigned (may vary depending on client requirements)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Two (2) or more years of warehouse experience required
- People management experience
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, with strong follow-up, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with customers, employees, peers, and management
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
- Ability to act as the Location’s point of contact in the absence of the General Manager
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain performance in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate computer skills
- Exposure to Lean principles and 5S systems, tools, and standards (beginner level)
