Operations Manager - VAS (B Shift) - Gainesville Distribution Center

About the role

The Operations Manager is a seasoned leader responsible for delivering on the overall customer promise by driving results through coaching, performance management, and monitoring outcomes. This role supports business strategy, ensures financial standards are met, and leads process improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Support the business strategy by driving results in safety, quality, and performance.
• Lead, develop, and grow a team of approximately 20 employees.
• Oversee recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training of warehouse staff.
• Drive warehouse associate performance through coaching, counseling, and feedback.
• Enhance professional and technical knowledge via workshops, publications, and networking.
• Own process improvement efforts using problem-solving, project management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Meet financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.
• Drive KPI metrics, 4DX, and facility performance scorecards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role.
• Proven capability in identifying and implementing continuous improvement (CI) actions that deliver measurable cost, service, and quality improvements.
• Demonstrated experience in developing others and growing leadership competencies.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Ability to analyze data and determine actions based on improvement opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

Pay range: $59,000.00 – $98,000.00 annually. Offers are dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
