Manages all activities related to branch operations and development of branch services for assigned accounts, either directly or through subordinate supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Maintains security operations business plans, including program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
- Provides input for service strategy development and research on new and emerging services.
- Ensures successful implementation of new contract start-ups, covering personnel, materials, training, subcontracts, facilities, tooling, and equipment.
- Proactively meets client needs through regular meetings, addressing issues, and offering security and technical expertise.
- Ensures customer satisfaction and meets all established cost, quality, and delivery commitments.
- Coordinates operating activities with other organizational functions and suppliers to optimize service and resource utilization.
- Reviews service and operating reports to resolve operational, service, and maintenance problems, minimizing costs and preventing lost coverage.
- Performs administrative tasks, including compiling, storing, and retrieving data for reports.
- Partners with Human Resources to ensure thorough training on client, company, government, and customer policies.
- Coordinates site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel.
- Manages overtime costs effectively within company targets and ensures contractual scheduled hours are met.
- Reconciles security logs, reviews incident reports, and coordinates preliminary investigations.
- Performs account audits and off-hour visits, completing required documentation.
- Develops and maintains operational procedures and site-specific post orders for security staff reference.
- Manages uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles at client sites, maintaining inventory.
- Available 24/7 for emergency or placement purposes, responding promptly to all contacts/calls.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manages 1-5 subordinates who supervise up to 75 employees across various accounts/posts.
- Directly supervises approximately 200 hourly employees.
- Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, plus three to five years of management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Knowledge of contact management systems, inventory software, payroll systems, MS Office Project Management software, and intermediate to advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid state driver’s license and CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
- Available 24/7 and willing to travel up to 50% for inspections or corporate needs.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
