About the role
The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team at CVS Health. They lead the store's operations, supervise the team, and support the Store Manager in improving store performance and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead others and work effectively with store crews
- Supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store’s crew
- Communicate information to store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner
- Support Store Manager with actions plans for operational and service improvement
- Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
- Promote CVS customer service culture
- Manage pharmacy functions, including promoting a path to better health, educating customers, and managing workflow procedures
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability
- Advanced analytical skills

- Leadership, supervision, and influencing skills
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Must be registered, and maintain registration, according to local and state pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience as a retail manager or supervisor preferred but not required
- State-level licensure requirements vary by state
