Operations Manager, Rx
The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team, fulfilling the company purpose of helping people on their path to better health by driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Operations Manager maintains an engaged, productive store team through strong leadership and supports the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store.
Responsibilities
- Management
- Lead and work effectively with store crews.
- Supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store’s crew.
- Communicate information openly and timely to store crew and supervisors.
- Support Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement.
- Customer Service
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank).
- Pharmacy Functions
- Engage customers to learn about their health and medications; educate about CVS services and products.
- Prioritize customer needs, displaying genuine care and empathy in all interactions.
- Understand and follow applicable Federal and State laws (e.g., HIPAA), regulations (e.g., OSHA), and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
- Follow workflow procedures for day-to-day coordination and processing of patient medication orders.
- Deliver results while balancing quality and efficiency, maintaining accuracy in workflow and inventory management.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential problems to ensure customers receive medications when needed.
- Collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical staff, insurance companies, and customers to resolve issues.
- Expand clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge to assist customers more effectively.
- Contribute to high-performing teams by supporting individual and broader team goals.
- Must be registered and maintain registration according to local and state pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications
- Experience as a retail manager or supervisor (preferred).
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $19.00 - $29.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
