The Company currently operates the following venues in Nashville: Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Lainey Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up, Luke’s 32 Bridge, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa Tex Mex + Cantina, Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, Sun Diner, and Posty's, Nashville.

About the role

The Operations Manager shares responsibility for overseeing the complete venue, including staff management, money management, reporting, sales goals, inter-office communications, and upholding company policies and procedures. This role assists in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating personnel, as well as developing and motivating staff to meet performance standards. The Operations Manager addresses patron questions and complaints, inspects the venue for cleanliness and compliance, and ensures overall appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Continually develop staff, including Floor Supervisors, in managerial and professional growth.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, testing, and coaching of staff.
  • Help create and meet sales goals while promoting teamwork.
  • Utilize effective time management and follow-up skills.
  • Accommodate and anticipate guest needs.
  • Accurately forecast staffing needs to ensure optimal customer service.
  • Ensure all service standards meet company guidelines.
  • Oversee successful execution of private events, catering, and banquets.
  • Control cash and receipts by adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare required paperwork, including reports and schedules.
  • Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition through inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Verify products are received according to venue policies.
  • Conduct conflict resolution, corrective actions, and coaching.
  • Oversee and ensure timely completion of employee performance appraisals.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations for health, safety, and labor.
  • Ensure nightly and weekly opening/closing duties are followed.
  • Fill in where needed to maintain guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Provide administrative support and promote mutual company growth with partners.
  • Recognize and address intoxicated or disruptive guests in compliance with alcohol management policies.
  • Comply with all safety, health, and liquor laws.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in the entertainment industry, specifically in a high-volume restaurant/bar.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • 21+ years of age.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain all state-required work cards.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.

Skills

  • Proficient in Windows Office and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of POS and back-office reporting systems.
  • Understanding of profitability analysis, budgeting, cost of sales, and payroll management.
  • Knowledge of bar/restaurant operations, fine dining procedures, and beverage service.
  • Experience with purchasing, receiving, inventories, and cost controls for bar products.
  • Knowledge of special events, banquets, and state/local laws regarding liquor, labor, and health codes.
  • Ability to work as a team, stay organized, handle multiple projects, lead, and delegate.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate personal integrity.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Small to medium office environment with personal or shared desk space.
  • Work in office, bar, lounge, and restaurant settings.
  • 5-25% local travel.
  • Moderate to high noise levels depending on guest volume.
  • Occasional exposure to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke.
  • Varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Expected to work 40-50 hours weekly, with schedules dependent on business levels, special events, and holidays.
