Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish parameters to judge how efficiently and effectively the organization is operating.
- Review and evaluate work in process.
- Cookordination and monitoring of the work of the parts and service departments.
- Maintain performance and implement improvements.
- Ensure quality of work.
- Utilize monthly financial statements and data to improve profitability.
- Prepare and control operational budgets.
- Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
- Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
- Monitor adherence to all rules, regulations and procedures.
- Plan the use of human resources.
- Recruit and place required staff and establish work schedules.
- Supervise staff, monitor and evaluate performance.
- Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity.
- Liaison with top management.
- Aid in the development of strategic plans for operational activity.
- Implement and manage operational plans.
- Supervise staff, monitor and evaluate performance.
- Aid in resolving billing disputes and customer complaints.
- Manage Tupelo operations.
Qualification Requirements
- A college degree in business administration, commerce, management, and industrial technology, is preferred but not required.
- A high school diploma and/or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
- Previous experience in operations and inventory management is essential to success in this position.
- Demonstrate a high degree of communication and organizational skills to include the ability to apply logic and constructive thinking to solve problems.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Knowledge of human resource principles and practices.
- Effective in providing oral and written communications to customers, management and vendors.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including decimals and percentages.
- Working knowledge of a wide variety of business software and general business procedures.
- General knowledge of business administration with a high degree of mechanical knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Information technology skills.
- Able to push, pull, lift or move up to 30 pounds.
