Operations Manager - Miami

About the role

As an Operations Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to coordinate and direct the overall delivery of quality service to maximize branch productivity and logistics. By working closely with the Branch Manager, you will ensure safety, world-class customer service, and standard process compliance to ensure effective and efficient operations. This is a safety-sensitive role that requires compliance with the company's drug and alcohol policy and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Review and analyze business performance using plan data and recommend decisions/approaches to address key operational opportunities and levers, including route sales growth optimization, pricing actions, product inventory, and labor costs.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and counsel staff and front-line personnel to provide ongoing support and development.
• Optimize core processes and positively influence client relationships and business opportunities.
• Manage and foster effective communication at all levels of the organization.
• Ensure daily operations are maintained as scheduled.
• Performance management of direct staff, including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other applicable staff.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• May fill in during the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Oversee rental operations and direct and check the daily paperwork flow.
• Communicate with sales personnel regarding jobs, quotes, problems, etc.
• Oversee maintenance and/or repair of company vehicles.
• Ensure safety training and protocols are followed and implemented at the branch.
• Available on a 24-hour basis for customer needs and facility security alarm situations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum four years of experience in operations in manufacturing or the construction industry.
• Must have a valid driver license.
