Operations Manager - Lasatelier

Location: Hoboken

Responsibilities

• Coordinating all shop activities and scheduling lasework
• Leading, motivating, and developing a team of fitters and certified lathers
• Implementing Lean methodologies and 5S within the workshop
• Initiating and overseeing improvement projects related to cycle time, quality, and costs
• Maintaining adherence to quality standards (ISO, internal standards) and safety regulations
• Preparing and following budgets, including analysis and reporting
• Maintaining customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and consistent quality
• Developing long-term strategies around growth, productivity, innovation, and capacity

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in (electrical) mechanics or equivalent through experience
• Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, and 5S implementation
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a mechanical or production environment
• Knowledge of las and assembly activities in a workshop environment
• Strong in organization, planning, and process optimization
• Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with various stakeholders
