About the Role

As a Fendi Operations Manager, you will oversee the overall management of the store’s operations, including team scheduling, merchandise, and customer service. You will support sales objectives, maintain operational and merchandising standards, build motivated teams, and develop associates. You will collaborate closely with Store Leaders to impart critical business knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Policies and Procedures
    • Ensure accurate store operations align with Company policy.
    • Operate the POS system for stock transfers, payments, stock inquiries, and customer database input.
    • Assume the role of Store Manager in their absence.
  • Store Facility and Maintenance
    • Maintain the store facility, including cleaning, repairs, and replacement of damaged fixtures, furniture, and registers.
    • Coordinate maintenance for lighting and electrical systems as needed.
    • Ensure organization of back-office areas, stock rooms, restrooms, and hold areas according to company standards.
    • Serve as the liaison between sub-contractors and vendors to verify work standards and store conditions.
  • Financial Management
    • Control store expenses and maintain accurate records.
    • Ensure compliance with procedures for cash levels, credit card processing, and transactions.
    • Manage petty cash and payroll in accordance with company policy.
  • Inventory Management and Asset Protection
    • Meet accuracy and shrink goals.
    • Lead and facilitate inventories and cycle counts per company guidelines.
    • Complete monthly audits and process store damages to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Collaborate with Loss Prevention (LP) on risk management, security, cash controls, and inventory audits.
    • Liaise with guard companies for scheduling, training, and management.
  • Equipment and Systems
    • Maintain all store equipment, including computers, phones, registers, and ticket machines.
    • Ensure accurate ordering and organization of packaging, stationery, and CRM materials.
  • Shipping and Receiving
    • Supervise processing of shipments, transfers, and consignments.
    • Ensure optimal customer after-sales service, accuracy, and integrity.
    • Support OMNI product transfers, rebalances, and corporate-driven product movements.
  • Human Resources
    • Process HR paperwork accurately and timely.
    • Ensure associates adhere to HR and safety policies.
    • Train new hires on back-office procedures, including POS.
    • Schedule staff effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of high-volume retail experience; luxury experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in store operations.
  • Ability to manage schedules and deadlines.
  • Intermediate-level digital literacy, including POS and inventory management functions.
  • Strong drive for results and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to lift boxes/weights up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
