Operations Manager - General Cardiology Clinic

About the Role
The Manager Clinic Operations is a leadership role with comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for designated clinics. This position supports multiple high-volume cardiovascular clinics and diagnostic testing areas with approximately:
- 97,000 clinic visits annually
- 74,000 diagnostic studies annually
- 32 total staff members
Responsibilities include fiscal accountability, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, ensuring high levels of patient/family-centered care and service, patient and staff satisfaction, program development, team management, and integration with the clinical enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates to operationalize the mission, strategic plan, budgets, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies for the PCC, Hospitals, and Vanderbilt Clinic.
- Prepares annual operating and capital budgets following established guidelines and using benchmark data.
- Develops and monitors the implementation of area-specific quality plans linked to organizational goals.
- Provides feedback, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced peers and other members of the healthcare team.
- Leads complex department activities with a focus on short to medium-term strategy implementation.

Requirements
- Master's degree strongly preferred (MHA, MBA, MPH, Healthcare Administration, Health Services Management, or related field).
- Minimum 3+ years of healthcare leadership experience required; 5-7+ years preferred.
- Experience leading complex ambulatory healthcare operations, preferably within an academic medical center, large physician practice, cardiovascular service line, or multi-site specialty practice.
