Operations Manager – Dallas

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in conformity assessment
• Demonstrate great leadership skills and communicate the vision of the company across all levels
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Action-oriented with an agile approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Demonstrated experience coaching direct reports and developing efficiency-focused teamwork models
• People skills with experience managing multiple teams

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate technical field of study or equivalent work experience

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to achieve set targets (budget) and meet the P&L for your site
• Oversee daily operations at the site, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage site personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, to maintain an efficient and skilled workforce
• Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize workflow, enhance productivity, and ensure quality control in TIC processes
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure timely delivery of testing, inspection, and certification services
• Monitor and manage site budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to achieve financial objectives while maintaining operational excellence
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to guarantee a secure working environment for both employees and clients
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency at site operations
• Cook up with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and logistics, to streamline communication and ensure seamless overall business operations
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to proactively adapt and improve operational processes
• Prepare and present regular reports on site performance, key metrics, and improvement initiatives to senior management
• Develop and implement strategies to expand our accreditations and enhance our testing capabilities
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to drive business expansion
• Assist in the development and execution of strategies that support growth objectives and enhance overall business performance
• Provide technical support and review listing reports for the Fenestration, Building and Environment department
