Operations Manager- Charleston, SC
Our client, a national third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee Final Mile/Home Delivery operations supporting one of the country's largest retail customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations leader with experience in last-mile delivery, transportation, distribution, home delivery, or 3PL operations who enjoys leading teams, managing customer relationships, and driving operational performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations for a Final Mile/Home Delivery location
- Build and maintain strong relationships with onsite customers and Independent Contractors
- Supervise and develop Quality Control, Customer Service, and Operations employees
- Ensure strong delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational execution
- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve service and productivity
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members
- Manage Independent Contractor compliance, performance, and accountability
- Partner with customers to resolve operational and service-related issues
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and productive operation
- Participate in budgeting and management of operational financial performance
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery and customer service processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of operations leadership experience within logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain
- Experience managing employees within a distribution, transportation, delivery, or terminal environment
- Experience working with and managing Independent Contractors
- Strong customer relationship and account management skills
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced operational environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to monitor performance metrics and hold teams accountable for results

Pay
$70,000-$80,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus opportunity + $100 monthly cell phone allowance. Relocation assistance available for qualified regional candidates.
