Operations Manager | Business Finance
About the role
At Small Biz Heroes, you'll work directly alongside the CEO, learning how a high-growth financial services company operates from the inside out. You'll receive hands-on mentorship in underwriting, deal structuring, lender relationships, operational leadership, and process improvement while helping build the systems that support our continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Support underwriting and deal structuring alongside the CEO
- Coordinate funding pipelines and lender communications
- Improve operational workflows and standard operating procedures
- Monitor Salesforce, reporting, and operational data accuracy
- Lead daily operational rhythms and support team accountability
- Collaborate with Sales, Processing, and Leadership to deliver exceptional client experiences
Requirements
Experience in operations, underwriting, lending, financial services, or business administration is helpful, but character, work ethic, and coachability matter most.
Qualifications
Enjoy creating structure, improving processes, and solving problems. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Love learning and welcome coaching. Communicate professionally with teammates, lenders, and business owners. Take ownership and follow through on commitments. Want to build a long-term leadership career—not simply manage tasks.
