Operations Manager

About the role

The Home Medical Operations Manager oversees warehouse and medical service drivers/technicians, coordinates daily operations, manages inventory, and ensures proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supervises warehouse and medical service drivers/technicians
• Serves as a point of contact for dispatch, inventory control, and communication with management regarding HME services
• Purchases equipment, tracks inventory, and maintains proper documentation
• Maintains vendor files, patient records, and equipment expense records
• Interviews, selects, orients, reviews, and manages drivers, technicians, and warehouse employees
• Maintains and controls employee performance over time

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of home medical equipment and medical supplies at a management level
• Ability to travel to off-site locations
• Valid drivers license and automobile insurance
• Computer experience including Windows operating systems, inventory control, purchase order systems, word processing, and spreadsheets

Education

A Bachelor’s degree is preferable, but may be substituted by relevant work experience.
