About the role

Manages and coordinates the operational activities for a high-profile transformation project involving the conversion from legacy allocation systems to Investran. Supervises a team of administrators responsible for accounting, administration, and investor servicing to investment companies and advisers. Serves as a trusted advisor to clients by assessing changing business strategies and providing expertise to focus on growing investments. Acts as the escalation point for assigned clients, directing issue resolution and process changes to support client needs. Proactively identifies risk-related issues through qualitative and quantitative data review, anticipates obstacles, and implements mitigating solutions. Reviews accounting and financial statement information for audit and tax purposes, documents accounting principles for unusual investment types, and processes complex expense and incentive fee calculations and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of administrators providing accounting, administration, and investor servicing.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expertise and tools to support investment growth.
  • Act as the escalation point for client issues, directing resolution and process improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate risk-related issues through data analysis and proactive problem-solving.
  • Review accounting and financial statements for audit and tax reviews.
  • Document and set up accounting principles for unusual investment types.
  • Process and reconcile complex expense and incentive fee calculations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 or more years of experience in the alternative investments industry.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Thorough knowledge of Advent applications (preferred).
  • Advanced understanding of portfolio accounting and the investment management industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven team-oriented leadership and organizational skills.
  • CPA or CFA certification (preferred).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $126,820.00 - $149,200.00, based on the primary location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
