Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager has two main purposes day-to-day: ensuring the seamless operation of the venue, and overseeing all activities related to service and entertainment. With an overriding focus on team and guest experience, the Operations Manager balances operational excellence, commercial acumen, safety compliance, and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless venue operations and oversee service and entertainment activities
• Manage high-volume, quality cocktail bar/venue operations
• Demonstrate strong leadership and financial acumen
• Operate under pressure and make real-time decisions
• Manage multiple operational and managerial tasks simultaneously
• Handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
• Maintain physical and scheduling demands of the position, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role within a high-volume, quality cocktail bar/venue
• TIPS alcohol certification
• Food handling certification
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Strong leadership ability
• Capability to meet physical demands (walking, standing, lifting heavy items for extended periods)
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
