About the role

The Operations Manager has two main purposes day-to-day: ensuring the seamless operation of the venue, and overseeing all activities related to service and entertainment. With an overriding focus on team and guest experience, the Operations Manager balances operational excellence, commercial acumen, safety compliance, and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless venue operations and oversee service and entertainment activities
• Manage operational excellence, commercial acumen, and safety compliance
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence in team and guest interactions
• Operate at a high level under the direction of the management team
• Manage multiple operational and managerial tasks simultaneously
• Handle confidential information and issues with discretion and sound judgment
• Meet physical and scheduling demands, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role within a high-volume, quality cocktail bar/venue
• TIPS alcohol certification
• Food handling certification
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Strong leadership ability
• Strong financial acumen
• Ability to manage under pressure and make decisions in real time
• Personal maturity to deal with confidential information and issues discreetly

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $88,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on factors including prior employment history, job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
