Operations Manager

Department: Maintenance    Reports to: General Manager

About the Role

The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the marina, ensuring high-quality facilities, safety compliance, and efficient maintenance. This role requires a strong background in marina facilities, building systems, and repair procedures, along with excellent leadership and communication skills to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily marina operations, including customer service, maintenance, security, and safety protocols.
• Partner with the Maintenance Manager and Marina Manager to develop and implement standard operating procedures for all marina operations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to marina operations, including safety, environmental, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in a Maintenance Manager or other facilities role.
• Well-rounded knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Highly effective communication and time management skills.
• Ability to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to swim or willing to wear a personal flotation device in emergencies.
• Capable of performing simple grasping, fine manipulation, repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on property needs.
