Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- General Hotel Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to ensure smooth, efficient property performance
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) on a rotating basis, resolving guest issues and operational disruptions in real time
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores (e.g., GSS, TripAdvisor, Google reviews) and implement service recovery and improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and local licensing requirements
- Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses against forecasted targets
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management across operational teams
- Lead or contribute to weekly operations meetings, reporting on KPIs to senior leadership
- Food & Beverage Operations:
- Partner closely with Front Desk and F&B teams to drive quality, consistency, and profitability across all outlets (restaurant, bar, breakfast, banquets/events)
- Support menu engineering, pricing strategy, and promotional planning in collaboration with management
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Oversee event and banquet execution, coordinating with sales and catering teams to deliver on client expectations
- Analyze F&B guest feedback and outlet performance data to identify opportunities for service and revenue improvement
- Assist in inventories
- Assist in vendor and supplier management, including contract negotiations and inventory control
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar leadership role (e.g., Front Desk Supervisor, F&B Manager or Supervisor, Assistant Front Office Manager)
Skills
- Minimum of High School education; post-high school education preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills
- In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations
