Job Overview

Aid in coordinating and directing operations necessary to fulfill contractual responsibilities between SBM and customers, including planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supply contacts, customer relations, and other managerial responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
  • May develop work schedules to ensure adequate service.
  • Prepares schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes, and monitors compliance.
  • Performs inspections and evaluations of establishments for program compliance, such as safety, quality, and service.
  • Maintains inventories, supplies, and equipment.
  • Manages special projects.
  • Investigates and promotes improved equipment and methods.
  • Reviews customer requests for service to determine cause, type of malfunction, and addresses with manager.
  • Aids in implementing and executing policies and goals.
  • Inspects plants and evaluates use of space and facilities.
  • Assists with plans, budgets, and schedule modifications, including cost estimates, bid sheets, and contracts.
  • Participates in the development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements.
  • Aids in coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents.
  • Maintains a safe work environment for self and employees.
  • Affirms compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Reviews correspondence concerning contractors and responds as appropriate.
  • Establishes and maintains contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process.
  • Conducts and attends meetings to communicate top-down and bottom-up on a consistent, real-time basis, with customers, clients, and employees.
  • Aids with human resource concerns and issues.

Qualifications

  • A.A. Degree required in Business Management, or a related field with 2+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Completed all safety and task training certification.
  • May be required to be forklift certified.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team.
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
  • Customer service, problem-solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and general public.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Ensures employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
