Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a diverse team of Operations Specialists, Technicians, and Support Staff.
Build leadership capability through training, performance management, and succession planning.
Manage daily operations to ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and optimal resource utilization.
Develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Promote and enforce quality & safety standards in compliance with regulations and company policies.
Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to optimize processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
Manage budgets, ensure cost control, and monitor financial performance of operational areas.
Stay informed on industry trends and technology to improve production and service capabilities.
Lead special operational projects, including new equipment integration and process optimization initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage all site operations, including production, warehouse, and receiving teams.
Supervise and develop Specialists, Technicians, and other support staff.

- Daily goal attainment and on-time delivery
- Customer satisfaction and lead time reduction
- Production throughput and backlog management
- Warranty and “beyond economical repair” (BER) rates
- Cost efficiency and resource optimization

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, production, or quality management preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or service environment.
- Knowledge of industrial or technical products a plus.

Employee Evaluation Summary
- Introductory Review -- Written at approximately 80 days after employment and used to determine employment continuation.
- Monthly Reviews -- Monthly objectives established and reviewed monthly.
- Annual Reviews -- Same as monthly reviews for year, along with Strengths, areas for improvement, and Plans/Goals for upcoming year.
Work Schedule
This is a management level exempt position that requires a work schedule that achieves the results and objectives identified by the company and the General Manager, Production Services. Generally, the company operates and most of those who will interface with this position work normal business hours, which are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, but several of the responsible areas have extended shifts beyond normal business hours. Nights and weekends may be worked at the Manager’s discretion based on current project and implementation needs, deadlines, and workload.
Work Environment
- The environment is a mixed office and production environment.
- Dress attire is casual but professional.
- All employees are required to wear Radwell access card and “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received.
- Safety shoes are recommended. Closed-toe hard sole- shoes must be worn.
- Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times.
