As the Operations Manager You'll manage and grow a team of 6-10 people, scaling it alongside the leadership structure needed to support that growth, while executing within defined systems and providing structured feedback to improve them over time. The Operations Manager will have opportunities for development as Verus continues to grow and evolve. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate warehouse, fulfillment, and shipping operations from end-to-endManage and develop an efficient team; review weekly performance data, verify accuracy, and hold the team to standardsIdentify and solve operational problems proactively, before they become firesHave direct, timely accountability conversations when performance doesn’t meet expectationsMake decisions using documented decision frameworksDrive continuous improvement in on-time delivery, quality, and operational efficiency What They’re Looking For: 3–7 years managing warehouse, production, or fulfillment operationsExperience managing 5–20 people, including hourly workersBackground in small-to-mid manufacturing or distribution ($5M–$30M revenue)Track record of catching problems proactively, not just reacting to firesComfortable with direct accountability conversations, you don’t avoid hard truthsData-driven: you verify performance rather than taking people’s word for itHands-on: you’re on the floor helping, improving, and working alongside the team, not in a corner office PURPLE INK OPERATES AS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
