Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
• Maintain a safety-first culture throughout the facility; work with EH&S staff to establish and ensure implementation of safety standards.
• Ensure operational activities remain on time and within budget, meeting facility objectives.
• Monitor demand and capacity information to maintain appropriate hourly labor levels.
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Effectively communicate at all levels and support communication throughout the facility.
• Establish goals, conduct performance appraisals, and provide coaching and guidance for direct reports.
• Assist the Plant Manager in the development of budgets.
• Develop and support programs that provide training, motivation, resolution of employee problems, and coordination of work efforts.
• Support and ensure enforcement of company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This role reports to the Plant Manager and is based at our Albion, IL air filter manufacturing plant.
