Operations Manager
About the role
Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Manager of Distribution Operations to lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for overall operations at a distribution location. This position oversees multi-shift distribution, field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage multi-shift distribution operations
- Oversee field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance
- Develop and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, leveraging technology, and improved service within the distribution
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to meet goals and work with a cross-functional mindset
- Provide customer service for internal and external customers
- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing company standards and following up on regular safety inspections
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant management experience in vocational agricultural or a combination in supervisory, education, and work experience
- Agricultural based degree desired
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
Qualifications
- Willingness to travel to include market areas in other states

- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and cost savings
- Experience with technology integration and service enhancement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
