Assist the General Manager in leading and inspiring each team member to provide an exceptional guest experience, ensuring every guest feels genuinely cared for and leaves as a lifelong customer.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in all aspects of hotel operations, day-to-day staff management, and guest interactions.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Handle guest complaints and oversee the service recovery process.
- Assist in managing the budget and ensure revenue and guest satisfaction goals are met.
- Develop short- and long-term strategic goals for performance improvement.
- Understand the P&L statement and meet all report deadlines (daily, weekly, and month-end).
- Work closely with department managers and the General Manager to maximize room yield and hotel revenue.
- Oversee and manage all departments, collaborating with department heads daily.
- Maintain strong communication between departments and the General Manager.
- Ensure occupational health, fire, and life safety standards are upheld.
- Strive to improve service performance and maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others by example.
- Encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors and improve service performance.
- Communicate clear and consistent messages regarding processes across all departments.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and meet daily customer expectations.
- Provide daily support to departments in their operations.
- Identify developmental needs of team members and coach, mentor, or help improve their skills.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the General Manager.
Requirements

- Clean and professional appearance.
- Hotel management experience required; hospitality degree preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print, computer screens).
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
