About the role
Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Houston, TX, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee warehouse and production operations for the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage shipping and production employees
- Establish daily shipping, receiving, and production schedules
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics
- Collaborate with Corporate purchasing team for material planning
- Provide direct supervision of employees
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience with proven warehouse and production management success
- Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable systems
- Strong math skills for production calculations
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic forklift knowledge is a plus
Qualifications
An associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred.
