Operations Manager

About the Role

Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Butner, NC, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and production employees
• Establish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule daily
• Establish inbound/outbound logistics daily
• Coordinate with the Corporate purchasing team for material planning
• Direct supervision of employees
• Additional duties may be required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership
• Basic forklift knowledge required
• Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
• Experience with cycle counting is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred
