Operations Manager

About the role

This is not a traditional strategy or advisory role. You'll be hands-on, working directly with the founders and owning important projects from problem → analysis → execution.

What you'll own

• Lead cross-functional projects across engineering, operations, and go-to-market
• Own end-to-end delivery of RL environments for strategic customers
• Take ownership of key data pipelines after an initial ramp period
• Build operational processes from scratch as the company scales
• Solve ambiguous, high-impact problems where there may not be an existing playbook
• Run your own analysis using SQL or Python
• Report progress directly to the founders

Who they're looking for

• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a similar Strategic Projects role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable independently analyzing data using SQL or Python
• Technical background, with a CS degree or similar technical foundation being a plus
• Able to own ambiguous, cross-functional projects end-to-end
• Entrepreneurial and excited to build processes from scratch
• Strong communicator with a high degree of ownership

• Startup or high-growth company experience
• Experience leading teams or developing operational/product processes
• Software engineering experience
• Experience solving complex operational problems
• Human data or applied AI experience
• Exposure to post-training or reinforcement learning
• Previous Strategic Projects experience at a data company

Pay

$150K–$200K base salary + meaningful equity
