Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager supports the U.S. Army C5ISR Center to develop advances in cyber defense, detection methods, sensor structures, data optimization, and intrusion detection innovations. This role involves managing and overseeing all contractor and subcontractor personnel, preparing and presenting regular program reviews, and aligning program outcomes with mission priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all contractor and subcontractor personnel performing work under this task order, ensuring their performance meets established standards.
• Prepare and present regular program reviews, performance metrics, and executive-level briefings.
• Anticipate customer needs, propose innovative solutions, and align program outcomes with mission priorities.
• Serve as the primary client relationship manager within the program office.
• Support capture, proposal, and business development activities related to follow-on and adjacent client opportunities.
• Handle all administrative functions and liaise with the government for establishing priorities and training in new technologies.
• Provide high-level program management, budgeting, scheduling, trade-off analysis, and lifecycle costing.
• Conduct manpower assessments and risk management, as required.
• Ensure the manning and training of the contract staff are adequate for meeting the deliverables.

Requirements

• Required Bachelor’s Degree in Management or IT-related field with 10 years of experience.
• Senior-level experience and proficiency in Information Technology practices.
• Experience serving as the Project Manager on at least one contract with an annual value over $5M or a team size over fifteen personnel, explicitly including Cloud Infrastructure, Data Analytics, and Agile software development components.
• PMP Certification.
• T/SCI clearance.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel.
