Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Dental Practice Operations Manager to join our Fossil Creek practice in Halton City, TX. This role is pivotal in elevating patient care, streamlining operations, and driving the success of the dental practice. The ideal candidate will thrive in a growth-oriented, collaborative, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Act as a key liaison between the practice and the support center, ensuring clear communication. Collaborate with the owner doctor and regional support to develop and implement growth strategies. Identify opportunities to expand services, increase patient access, enhance retention, and drive production and collections. Leverage data insights for decision-making.
• Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, coach, and develop all employees. Facilitate meetings and inspire a growth mindset. Encourage professional development, aligning with individual and practice goals, and stay updated on Imagen University courses.
• Patient Experience: Drive initiatives to enhance the patient journey from first contact to follow-up care. Monitor patient feedback to improve satisfaction, clinical quality, retention, and online reputation. Follow up on unscheduled treatments to drive reactivation. Manage in-practice responsibilities for campaign success, such as online booking and lead conversion. Lead local marketing initiatives.
• Operational & Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): Oversee front desk operations, including scheduling, insurance verification, financial conversations, billing accuracy, and collections. Audit daily workflows for compliance and retrain the team as needed. Process patient credits, refunds, claims, and cash deposits accurately. Reconcile daily deposits, cash payments, revenue reports, and transactions in the dental practice management system (DPMS).
• Financial Partnership & Practice Performance: Manage the practice budget and expenses. Execute strategies to optimize revenue, improve billing processes, and strengthen collections. Collaborate with the finance team to understand financial results and support sustainable growth. Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting by providing data and insights. Identify inefficiencies and lead solutions with central support teams. Review daily financial reports for accuracy.
• Other Duties: Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support practice operations and success.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Proven experience as a Dental Office Manager or similar leadership role with a track record of driving growth for 2+ years.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week.
  • 1+ years' experience managing profit and loss statements.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in providing effective leadership and inspiring teams.
• Preferred:
  • Experience managing the full revenue cycle, including insurance claims, collections, and patient billing.

Pay

Salary starting at $60,000+, based on experience, with bonus opportunities.
