Operations Manager
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to lead the successful execution of commercial electrical construction projects while driving operational excellence, profitability, safety, and client satisfaction. This leadership role oversees project management, field operations, estimating, procurement, and workforce development while partnering with leadership to support strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical operations, project managers, field teams, and support staff to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Improve division performance through labor productivity, estimating, procurement, scheduling, prefabrication, and change order management.
Conduct project reviews, oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, labor tracking, and profitability.
Develop and implement operational best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
Build strong relationships with clients and support business development, bid reviews, contract negotiations, and project planning.
Collaborate with leadership on strategic growth initiatives and resource planning.
Qualifications
12+ years of experience in electrical construction, operations, project management, or estimating.
Proven leadership managing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional, or mission-critical projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
PE license, MBA, or other industry certifications are a plus.
Able to travel up to 50%.
