Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Manage the Documentation and Control System and improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
- Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Manage department with the highest level of performance and in accordance with operating policies and procedures.
- Schedule, prioritize, and assign work to the supervisors in designated work areas.
- Monitor and check work assignments to ensure quality, efficiency and productivity.
- Schedule overtime if required, maintain good employee relations, review and adjust staffing requirements as required.
- Develops, implement, and manage quality plans for incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.
Qualifications
- An experienced manager with the ability to make suggestions for the development and implementation of organizational strategies, and practices.
- Develops, qualifies, and manages vendors and subcontractors.
- Manages purchasing, inventory, receiving and customers’ shipments.
- Participates in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process as appropriate.
