Operations Manager

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Manage the Documentation and Control System and improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
• Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Manage department with the highest level of performance and in accordance with operating policies and procedures.
• Schedule, prioritize, and assign work to the supervisors in designated work areas.
• Monitor and check work assignments to ensure quality, efficiency and productivity.
• Schedule overtime if required, maintain good employee relations, review and adjust staffing requirements as required.
• Develops, implement, and manage quality plans for incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.

Qualifications

• An experienced manager with the ability to make suggestions for the development and implementation of organizational strategies, and practices.
• Develops, qualifies, and manages vendors and subcontractors.
• Manages purchasing, inventory, receiving and customers’ shipments.
• Participates in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process as appropriate.
