Operations Manager

About the role

K&B Garage Doors, a DH Pace Company, is seeking an Operations Manager for our Las Vegas, NV office to actively manage the Commercial Operations Department. In this role, you will oversee the Las Vegas commercial installation and/or service departments, focusing on work in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. While product knowledge is not required, experience managing a service or installation team responsible for mechanical and/or electrical products or equipment is preferred.

• Lead and oversee commercial operations and personnel to ensure efficient, effective, safe, and profitable performance.
• Manage and improve operational processes and procedures to maximize profit, customer satisfaction, and repeat business.
• Ensure sold jobs are scheduled and performed on time to meet divisional sales and gross profit objectives.
• Collaborate to align operating budgets and sales goals, tracking progress monthly.
• Deliver profit dollars and return on sales that meet or exceed yearly financial budgets/forecasts.
• Establish objectives and action plans consistent with corporate goals.
• Hire, train, and develop employees; improve performance through coaching, project outcomes, scorecard reviews, and performance evaluations.
• Lead meetings, set performance expectations, and hold employees accountable.
• Communicate directly with customers to gather feedback, resolve issues, and identify new sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum 2 years of experience as a Department Manager, Operations Manager, or Project Manager in the Service Provider industry, with familiarity in construction project management and installation of building materials.
• Ability to understand technical applications, mechanical/electrical systems, and problem-solving.
• Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel, as well as hiring, training, developing, and conducting annual performance reviews.
