Operations Manager Overview
The Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Treatment Apartment, focusing on resident care, staff supervision, and facility management.
DIRECT SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide teaching, supervision, and support in accordance with OMH 593 and 595, including restorative services such as Assertiveness / Self-Advocacy Training, Community Integration/Resource Development, Daily Living Skills, Health Services, Medication Management / Training, Parenting Training, Rehabilitative Counseling, Skill Development, Socialization, Substance Abuse Services, Symptom management.
- Ensure comprehensive planning for admission, ongoing treatment, and discharge or transfer for each resident.
- Document resident behaviors and progress according to agency standards.
- Plan, implement, and supervise recreational activities.
- Ensure proper supervision, medication ordering, and documentation in accordance with agency policies.
- Perform additional duties necessary for the apartment's efficient operation.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assign, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and volunteers, scheduling their hours to maintain adequate coverage.
- Ensure all required resident care documentation is completed according to OMH and agency standards.
- Conduct in-service training and ensure staff competence in medication-related skills.
- Coordinate mandatory Agency trainings and oversee the Apartment Treatment Site in the Program Director's absence.
- Maintain a positive relationship with community groups and ensure continuity of care for residents.
- Interview and recommend candidates for hiring.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings, providing input for treatment team meetings, staff meetings, utilization reviews, and other meetings.
- Collaborate with the Rehabilitation and Compliance Manager to oversee the operation of the Apartment Treatment Site.
- Be available on-call for staff support after hours and in case of emergencies.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Human Services.
- 1 year of experience in Human Services.
- Valid driver’s license meeting agency’s Clean Driving Record Policy.
Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is $25-$26.20/hour. The position operates Tuesday-Saturday with the following schedule: Sunday Off, Monday Off, Tuesday 10am-6:30pm, Wednesday 9am-5:30pm, Thursday 10am-6:30pm, Friday 9am-5:30pm, Saturday 9am-5:30pm.
