Position Summary Crescent Operation Managers are responsible to manage and operate a high performing reliable operation committed to meeting all our customer’s needs, our company’s needs and our people’s needs. The business will operate as outlined in the Crescent Way- 3 P’s: PurposeProcessPeople While building on our culture of: Doing it RightDoing it SafeDoing it Well Essential Duties And Responsibilities Safety Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing it SafeEnsure a Work Environment which is safe and maintained where our people can safely grow and developEngage everyone in the operation to participate in Safety Observations to continually seek out and remove all forms of risk People Select the best people to be part of CrescentTrain to ensure each person is competent Assess to ensure the fair and accurate evaluation of each person’s performance and potential Recognize to ensure each person feels appreciated for the value they provideRegularly review the Voice of Our People to gain an understanding of their issues and concerns in keeping Crescent’s work environment as a source of competitive advantage Productivity Manage all inbound and outbound shipments/stock transfers, including support system activity Manage pick process for production and ensure all intercompany transfers and staging occurs timely and accurately for production useAssess / verify the ongoing need for resources Validate the use and continuous improvement of all production and operational processes Quality Determine and adhere to all quality standards Ensure our customer’s need for quality is understood and build into each processControl the accuracy of the WMS to ensure correct quantity, SKU, lot code and location of product and materialsEnsure cycle counts, damage processing, are completed and documented as required Data Integrity - Ensure the complete integrity and timeliness of all data in our operating systems. (Pack Manager / Kronos / Quick Base) Customer Value Understand the required standards for each customer and their needsReport well documented and accurate metrics – UPPHManage and motivate all FLO’s to maintain a safe, well organized, accurate receiving, warehouse, staging, and shipping environment Financial Align and optimize the allocation of People to meet established operating targets Ensure equipment is fully PM’d and maintained, stay abreast of innovative equipment ideas to continually improve the level of output Cultural Competencies Do It Right Doing what is right for our Customers, doing what is right for our Company and doing what is right for our People.
