About the role

The Manufacturing Operations Manager oversees all aspects of production activity. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective production processes while maintaining the highest quality standards. This individual leads and motivates teams, implements best practices, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support organizational goals. Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in ways that foster good relationships with those inside and outside the company while achieving and enhancing performance standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
• Lead, train, and mentor supervisors and production staff to foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Oversee equipment and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure operational readiness of all machinery.
• Support new product launches and process changes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in manufacturing operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards.
• Must be able to report to any company facility according to company need, sometimes with same-day notice.

Pay

Salary range: $90,000–$108,000. Actual salary is determined upon a variety of factors such as level of experience, skills, education and/or certifications, and location.
