Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager owns the day-to-day execution of everything that keeps a location running: warehouse operations, delivery and pickup scheduling, field crew supervision, inventory and equipment readiness, and client satisfaction on the ground. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on solving problems in real time and building a team that delivers flawlessly, event after event.

Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will be responsible for:

• Operations & Logistics: owning daily delivery and pickup schedules, optimizing routes and dispatch crews, ensuring on-time setup and breakdown of rental equipment, and managing the fleet
• Team Management: leading and scheduling warehouse, field, and delivery staff, training the team on equipment handling, safety, and customer service standards, and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Inventory & Equipment: managing inventory flow, running regular audits, and partnering with purchasing to maintain the right stock levels
• Customer Service & Quality Control: being the go-to for operational escalations and on-site event issues, guaranteeing every rental item goes out clean and functional, and keeping sales and client services in the loop with proactive communication
• Administrative & Reporting: tracking KPIs, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and reporting on operations regularly

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in operations management, preferably in the event rental, logistics, or hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of inventory systems and logistics software is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
