Responsibilities
- Select and place new security professionals, including first-line supervisors.
- Evaluate low-performing employees for replacement, upgrade, or transfer.
- Create, modify, and manage post schedules in WinTeam to ensure adequate coverage.
- Manage branch overtime through proper scheduling and staffing.
- Maintain a qualified, sufficient pool of flex personnel for backfill of vacant positions.
- Review “No Hours Report” with branch HR staff and disposition employees as needed.
- Receive weekly timesheets and update WinTeam schedules as necessary.
- Run weekly payroll according to company procedures.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process requests for final paychecks, anniversary bonuses, and other pay-related issues.
- Act as a Company representative in matters such as unemployment hearings, workers’ compensation hearings/depositions, union meetings, state agency activities, depositions, and other related liability matters.
- Conduct disciplinary and counseling sessions with Security Professionals as needed.
- Initiate termination procedures for voluntary and involuntary separations.
- Execute termination meetings and complete all follow-up documentation.
- Enforce post-specific policies and procedures through proper communication and training.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
- Three (3) years of leadership experience in a high-volume workforce environment, preferably in the protective service industry.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
- Leadership skills fostering teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations, and achieving desired results.
- Results-oriented problem-solving skills to meet both client and employee growth and satisfaction.
- Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office and BI tools for metrics analysis, reporting, automation, and presentations.
- Dynamic networking skills displaying a commitment to safety and trust.
- Basic understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and financial reporting.
