Operations Manager

About the role

Hands‑on Food & Beverage Operations Manager responsible for leading production operations within a manufacturing facility, driving safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and overall operational performance while overseeing supervisors and production teams across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and production operations
• Manage and develop production supervisors and frontline employees
• Drive productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety initiatives
• Monitor and improve KPIs including throughput, downtime, waste, and labor utilization
• Support workforce planning, staffing, training, and employee development
• Partner with maintenance and engineering to improve equipment reliability
• Resolve production issues and operational bottlenecks
• Foster a positive, high‑accountability culture focused on results

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience managing supervisors and large production teams
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and production processes
• Demonstrated success driving operational improvements
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Food & beverage manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Intermediate level

Pay

Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 per year. Compensation within this range depends on qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
