Position Summary
As an Operations Manager for Pyle, you will assist in daily terminal operations involving P&D, Dock, Line Haul, Office, Recruiting, and OS&D Departments. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the management of staff aligns with Company goals and guidelines
- Developing and maintaining cross-training materials, performance reviews, and supervisory training
- Monitoring terminal operation statistics and encouraging improvements
- Fostering an innovative spirit in achieving goals
- Ensuring adequate staffing levels throughout the terminal
- Developing, maintaining, and improving current processes for freight and personnel security, while promoting Pyle Culture
Requirements
- Previous LTL Transportation experience
- Previous Management experience
- Computer skills including MS Office
- Able to work all shifts as required
- Ability to lead, teach, mentor staff while enforcing Company Policies
- Effective communication skills
