Operations Manager 3
About the Role
The Utility and Infrastructure Traffic and Open Space operations team is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager. The selected candidate will report to the UI Operations Group Leader over Traffic and Open Space operations. If selected, you will be responsible for leadership, technical direction and oversight of UI Division activities and operations in the primary area of the traffic system, roadways, parking lots, open space and the facility supervisor team. The Operations Manager will ensure deployed functions, e.g. ESH&Q, Engineering, and Maintenance are accountable for their performance to support the safe operations in their respective areas of responsibility. The Operations Manager will manage the LANL Snow Removal program and participate in the UI Duty Officer program to cover off‑hours operation. The position may be required to serve in an on‑call capacity as assigned to include after‑hours, holidays or LANL shutdowns.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Knowledge & Expertise: Knowledge of and experience with traffic systems, transportation systems and/or grounds maintenance. Demonstrated experience conducting critiques, root cause analysis, and lessons learned.
