Operations Manager 1

Our retailers range from small family owned stores to Whole Foods Markets and everything in between.

Responsibilities

• Manages all the day-to-day activities surrounding inbound, inventory control, AND/OR outbound warehouse operations
• Maintains or develops reports to understand the state of operations, or where to make improvements
• Ensures operations meet or exceed Company metrics
• Partners with Human Resources to find and retain talent
• Ensures all company policies are followed and implemented proper solutions when needed
• Performs duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Additional related facility management training preferred
• Five or more years of related experience, with at least two or more years of supervisory experience
• Three to five years warehouse management and/or logistics management experience in a complex, service-driven organization
• Experience in shipping/receiving is preferred
• System Implementation Preferred
• Strong knowledge of all warehouse procedures and functions
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, supply contracts, and shipping requirements

• Understands Accounting, HR and Payroll activities/practices
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
