About the role
The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) is an 18-month structured and comprehensive training program designed to develop leadership and operational knowledge. This position involves working collaboratively with different teams to gain insights into business processes and strategies, aligning with customer retention, operational excellence, and key metrics. You will utilize problem-solving abilities to make impactful business decisions. With mentorship, training, and a willingness to relocate, you will be prepared for the next step in a successful career with a Fortune 500 company.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationship activities by providing quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the rental department to maximize utilization without compromising lease customers.
- Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
- Manage running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policy and processes are followed to optimize expenses.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling, follow-up on breakdowns, and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.
- Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required).
- 1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution experience (Preferred).
- Strong PC knowledge/skills, including advanced spreadsheet and word processing software (Required).
- Basic understanding of business finance, controls, and metrics (Beginner, Required).

Pay
Salaried position with a pay range of $55,000 annually, paid weekly. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on level and/or type.

Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
