About the role

The Customer Service Coordinator at Ryder is part of a dynamic team, responsible for customer relationship activities, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role involves working with the rental department to maximize utilization, collaborating with sales staff for new business growth, and managing running costs and maintenance overheads.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers.
  • Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Manage running costs and maintenance overheads.
  • Ensure policy and processes are followed to optimize running costs and maintenance overhead.
  • Accountable for coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.

Requirements

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year or more of customer service experience with issues resolution experience. Strong PC knowledge/skills, advanced understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics, and basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics are preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree, Required.

  • Strong PC knowledge/skills to include spreadsheet and word processing software packages, Advanced, Required.
  • Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics, Beginner, Required.

Pay

The position is salaried with a minimum pay range of $56,000 and a maximum pay range of $56,000. The compensation offered may be influenced by various factors including relevant experience, education, work location, market data/ranges, internal equity, internal salary ranges, etc.

Schedule

The shift/schedule is Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
