Operations Management Program
Responsibilities
- Structured, 12-month development experience combining formal training and field exposure
- Gain practical experience in the field, developing a deep understanding of Schindler’s products, services, and customers
- Work closely with Area, Territory, and local leadership, including a dedicated mentor
- Learn how to effectively manage the maintenance and repair of elevators, escalators, and moving walks
- Field experience combined with structured curriculum including in-person training, eLearning modules, and cohort-based sessions
- Core focus areas include safety, product knowledge, resource planning, leadership, technician development, and financial acumen
- Program divided into three phases with specific learning objectives for each phase
- Participants must be open to relocating to other locations within the local territory upon completion of the program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or other relevant field of study preferred
- Candidates MUST be open to relocation (company-assisted) to select cities upon completion of the program
- Previous military or other leadership experience is highly desirable
- Prior work experience or internships in construction, service/maintenance or related industry a plus
- Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills
- Affinity for understanding technical/mechanical systems
