Responsibilities

  • Interact with lateral organizations or external agencies to facilitate day-to-day operations.
  • Identify, analyze, and evaluate problem areas in OM activities, drawing from trend data and organizational knowledge.
  • Keep senior management informed of program progress and advise on significant developments impacting mission.
  • Provide recommendations for unresolved or questionable problems and perform follow-up.
  • Research and determine appropriate actions or interpretations of issues impacting the organization.
  • Train staff members and action officers on procedures for submitting and tracking staff packages in MS SharePoint and the SOCCER system.
  • Track and ensure timely completion of OM suspenses, eSSS, staff packages, operating instructions, and awards.
  • Conduct self-inspections and present detailed reports with corrective actions taken or required.
  • Advise and assist with the revision of policies and procedures to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work.
  • Support installation and functional area organizations, establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Meet with key customers and coordinating officials to assess satisfaction, explain policies, and resolve significant problems.
  • Support special projects and initiatives, performing special assignments as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as tracking manning, preparing organizational charts, data entry, and managing training requirements, files, and forms.
  • Aid in ordering office supplies by gathering requests and preparing lists for government order.
  • Assist in the planning, formulation, editing, development, and publication of program documentation, plans, directives, reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Establish and maintain master files and file plans for program data, assisting in retrieval and documentation.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of training and development programs.

Requirements

  • Clearance: Secret
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
  • Experience: At least three years of relevant experience, with three of those in the DoD or seven years with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements.
