About the role
Credence is seeking an Operations Analyst to support the B-52 Stratofortress Division (AFLCMC WBD) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The division focuses on modernizing and sustaining the B-52 fleet and ensuring continued AF power projection.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall division support for administrative functions, DTS, special projects, awards, training, and other non-acquisition support functions
- Advises senior leaders, supervisors, and managers on special projects support
- Independently performs research and advises on sensitive issues concerning policies and procedures and related legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
- Reviews draft regulations, directives, and other guidance and prepares recommendations and comments reflecting impact on local policy or practices
- Collects and measures various division requirements defined by the Government
- Reviews and interprets data collected by other project members for accuracy and consistency with policy, procedures, and customer objectives
- Serves as a Program Manager for special studies, initiatives, and projects as defined by senior leadership
- Completes special projects reports in directed format to provide insight to the division, branches, and upper management
- Presents clear, concise, and well-structured presentations, oral or in writing, addressing designated issues
- Identifies problems, both in broad and detailed terms, and attempts to resolve conflicts in a timely manner through discussions with responsible members in meetings or working groups
- Affords assistance in establishing and maintaining master files and file plans of program data (both classified and unclassified)
- Affords assistance in retrieving data/information in the form of queries and reports; assists in the maintenance of tracking systems for identifying deficiencies, recommending corrective actions/closures, and preparing documentation for Government review and approval
- Affords assistance in performing self-inspections and presents detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective actions taken or required
- Affords assistance in assessing and revising policies and procedures as needed to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work
- Affords assistance in processing nomination packages for quarterly/yearly recognition programs and special trophies
- Affords assistance in processing monetary and honorary recognition packages
- Provides instructions and training to staff members and action officers on procedures for proper submission and tracking of staff packages in SharePoint and the TMT systems
- Responsible for tracking division suspenses, eSSS, staff packages, operating instructions, and various correspondence
- Supports special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments, including identifying the need for special projects and initiating milestones and goals
- Evaluates reports by analyzing facts and performing appropriate research and prepares detailed responses
- Supports administrative tasks as necessary to support division functions, such as tracking manning and preparing charts; data entry functions; integrating information into required reports; generating and maintaining requirements, files, forms, and established file plans; processing mail (receive, sign for, and distribute unclassified mail, and access, store, and handle classified material as required); preparing correspondence; managing and operating office equipment
- Affords assistance with ordering of office supplies by gathering requests from customers, preparing, and itemizing various lists of supplies/equipment to be ordered by the Government
- Responsible for the administration for travel orders and vouchers for the division
- Maintains a working knowledge of the JTR, DoD FMR, and DTS WPAFB business rules
- Affords assistance in updating and training all division personnel on the usage of DTS
- Affords assistance in maintaining and creating member travel authorizations, orders, and vouchers as needed
- Supports special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments, including identifying the need for special projects and initiating milestones and goals
- Evaluates reports by analyzing facts and performing appropriate research and prepares detailed responses
Requirements
- Clearance: Secret
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
- Fifteen 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD
- Working knowledge of the following systems/processes, including, but not limited to: AFRIMS, DTS, SOCCER, ETMS2(TMT), MICT, and PMRT
- Experience with DTS and remains current on all DTS changes
